Project Manager - Facilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performs project management for remodeling and new construction of all corporate facilities. This position deals with projects of a complex nature with regard to technical and logistics issues, and requires experience in dealing with a variety of disciplines.
- Initiates and evaluates alternatives, and manages facilities new construction and remodeling projects from conception through design, implementation, and completion. On large projects this may include coordination of outside engineering services as needed.
- Develops and ensures adherence to project schedules, budgets and vendor contracts.
- Uses knowledge to comply with applicable building codes, regulations and quality standards.

SKILLS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management.
Certification: PMP or CFM preferred
Candidate must be a registered Professional Engineer, with particular emphasis on project management of a wide variety of facility projects from medium to high in complexity. Applicants should also possess at least 5 years of facility related design and project management experience and must be well versed in maintenance functions involved in facility operations, including major building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, digital controls and IT systems.
Applicant must have the ability to efficiently and effectively interface with contractors, internal customers and the Facilities Team and must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills. Must have strong communications and customer relations skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Project.
