Project Manager (ERP Upgrade) Job

SENIOR IT PROJECT MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience in dealing with ERP upgrades and implementations in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment
- Experience dealing with infrastructure groups
- manage the ERP upgrade

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Managing an ERP upgrade
- Aligns scorecard metrics to triple constraint priorities.
- Creates comprehensive project plans; detailing project schedule, resource estimates.
- Defines and documents project work breakdowns, monitors task status..
- Establishes project roles and responsibilities and provides team members with clear direction.
- Develops and actively manages project schedule, resources, and budget.
- Manages resource gaps and acquisitions
- Tracks and reports monthly budget accruals and variances.
- Directs completion of applicable life cycle deliverables in compliance with established company standards, practices and policies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- IT project management, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement: 6 YEARS.
- Requirements elicitation and process analysis and design expertise: 4 YEARS. Mentoring other project managers in project management: 3 YEARS.
- Project management practices process improvement: 2 YEARS.
- Specific vertical technical or business area expertise relevant to critical IT portfolio demand, such as Retail, Supply: 2 YEARS Chain, Store Development, IT Infrastructure, ERP, BI.
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage geographically distributed teams.
- Ability to maneuver through tough political situations.
- Ability to navigate within a fast-paced dynamic environment with high degrees of ambiguity to deliver large and complex projects.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of process improvement and quality methods, such as Lean, Six Sigma.
