This is a CONTRACT engagement (C2C, W2)The project is scheduled to start April 20, 2015 and run for 3 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The project manager will support the ERP Program Manager for the client's initiative to design and implement a statewide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for temporary staffing.This position will interact at all levels and across multiple organizations, including agency business and IT executives. The project manager will participate as a member of the ERP Program Team, comprised largely of matrixed resources and additional contractors. The selected candidate will support coordination of RFI/RFP activities within the initialization of the ERP program, including Planning, Program Management, Financial Management, Service Management, Procurement, Human Resource Management, Change and Communications Management.

- Provides project leadership throughout RFI/RFP process
- Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors & summarizes progress of project. Prepares status reports for upper management.
- Creates RFI/RFP schedules, plans & outlines with the Program Manager & resources.
- Edits inputs from ERP Program Team for grammar, clarity & restrictions
- Support business process mapping & requirements to understand the ERP suite needs in order to develop the RFI/RFP.
- Educates ERP Program Team on potential responses to RFP questions & suggests alternate direction when appropriate
- Proactively communicates deadlines, follows up on status of inputs & escalates issues to management
- Building, leading & coaching project team, & facilitating all decision checkpoint activities throughout the project life cycle
- Adhering to client policies, procedures & ethics codes
- Develop & execute plans for time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk (including mitigation plans), issues & integration
- Follows project management industry practices - PMIs framework & established(EPMO) policies & procedures.
- Understands business/technical objectives of a project & works closely with project sponsor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in business management, finance, information technology, computer science or minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience with managing complex ERP projects, including ERP strategic planning & implementation projects with budgets exceeding $50 million
- 8-10 years of people management & leadership experience
- State Government experience highly preferred
- Demonstrable evidence of managing/developing RFI & RFP content for ERP, including financials, human resources, and/or business intelligence/analytics
- Leadership experience in RFI/RFP process, including key activities, such as: needs analysis, major project implementation, transition, transformation, procurement, evaluation criteria, proposal evaluation, vendor assessment, recommendations, scope of work
- Experience with organizational change programs preferred
- A strong businessas well as operational knowledge of modules in finance, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, human resources, asset management, & operations.
- Excellent written, verbal communicationincluding demonstrated ability to create/deliver presentations clearly & concisely to senior management & to lock in stakeholder commitment.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Microsoft Word, Excel, Project & PowerPoint skills
- Ability to facilitate meetings & follow up with resulting action items
- Ability to prioritize & resolve complex problems quickly in a high pressure & time sensitive environment
- Ability to lead & influence cross-organizationally with & without direct authority.
- Proven Ability to:
- Develop & synchronize comprehensive plans & to accomplish work operations & objectives
-Coordinate assignments to personnel supporting RFI/RFP efforts
-Provide advice & counsel.
