PROJECT MANAGER - ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT

This is a job opportunity for a 6 month contract within Government; it is also a good networking opportunity for wider contracts.

The primary role of the Medium Gap Crossing Project Manager is the efficient and effective procurement, delivery and in service support for bridging equipment through the manoeuvre support team (MST).

Effective and efficient planning and management of MS-Equipment Projects to satisfy or exceed customer requirements set out as targets within Business Plan subject to the approvals process and other departmental guidance, instructions and delegations.

The duties include:

- the Technical Management of medium gap crossing Projects within MST, including:
- the review and analysis of Equipment Failure Reports and other equipment feedback reports
- Instigating equipment remedial action such as technical investigations and modification programmes
- Modification and equipment support and design reviews
- Formulation and management of modification implementation plans
- Technical publication review and updates
- Equipment configuration management
- Formulation, approval and implementation of appropriate acquisition and support strategies in line with agreed programmes to meet policy and CSA.
- Development of Business Case and compliance activates for associated equipment's
- Development and maintenance of associated TLMPS.
- Preparing, evaluating and managing tenders and contracts.
- Development and review of project plans.
- Management of risk register.
- Management of safety for all associated projects.
