Powertrain Project Manager- 12 Month Contract- South East

My prestigious automotive client are currently seeking a Project Manager to head up an engine assembly project from concept right through to production. This is to support an exciting new venture.

The successful Powertrain Project Manager will be qualified in the following:
* Experience managing powertrain projects- good knowledge of powertrain processes
* Commercially astute with previous customer management experience
* Experience in providing quotations and estimates- being responsible for all the commercial elements of a project
* Experience with management and coordination of supporting design, mechanical and commissioning teams
* Experience working with diesel engine powertrain is advantageous but not essential

Ideally the client is looking for a powertrain project manager who has progressed from a very hands on engineering role.

The client has a global presence and work will include all spectrums of the automotive industry. This opportunity is not one to be missed for anybody wanting to be apart of a company with a growing presence within the industry.

Contracts are initially 12 months but may be extended dependent on workload and performance. Rates are competitive and dependent on individual skill.
