Project Manager (Electronic Handover Roll Out)

Specific responsibilities include:

* To create and deliver a Trust wide roll out plan for electronic handover
* To create and deliver a communication strategy to ensure sign up
* To be fully up to date on current training modules for electronic handover delivered by the training team and be responsible for the application of this training to real life within the live clinical environment
* To ensure a positive user experience by promoting effective use and benefits of clinical systems, particularly at times of change e.g. releases
* To identify blockers to engagement, which may include skills development, infrastructure or support. Identify solutions and report recommendations to management.
* Carry out 'floor walking' activities (on site training and ongoing expert support) where appropriate, with users in real time in their workplace, across all Trust sites, resolving users issues where possible, and ensuring end users know how to report issues to the help desk where there is no immediate resolution
* Provide a high standard of information to the Implementation teams and the Programme Office to enable successful roll out across the Trust.
* Provide regular project briefs and wider communication on the project

The opportunity:

The Project Manager will work closely with ICT, Training, Nursing, Allied Health Professionals, Clinical Admin Staff and other clinical teams across the Trust on a major trust project regarding technology as an enabler of improved patient flow and staff training. The post holder will lead the project on behalf of QEP.
