Project Manager - £350-390 p/d Ltd - 5 months - Defence

The Project Manager (PM) for the project is the focal point for capability projects from concept to in-Service. Ensuring they achieve the customers' requirements and provide Value-for-Money. Managing the Projects within the constraints laid down by the Project Board, the PM is to produce Business Cases and create Request for Contract Action using the ASPECT tool.

Working with the Requirements Managers and Customer community they are to ensure information obtained from various subject matter expertstasking appropriate MOD agencies to give the specialist support as necessary; assist in the maintenance of the Safety Assessment and preparation of the Release To Service document changes for in-service sections, and assessing the implications of specialist recommendations or advice for Release to Service and Service Deviations; ensure documented evidence of the modification programme is maintained to provide airworthiness assurance; monitor and influence where appropriate the Engineering Management reporting tools; produce and maintain a Platform Project Schedule (in MS Project) and present an update on your Platform to the PTL and MRCO TAA.

The PM will be expected to identify and manage MRCO project risks using the Active Risk Management (ARM) tool; support the delivery of internal quality audits and independent safety audits and produce all project support documentation (eg. Project Management Plan, Master Data & Alleviation List, Project Schedule and Risk Register.
