Project Manager - Data Migration

EDT Global are working with an established organisation based in Sydney, CBD who are looking to engage an experienced Technical Project Manager with a solid background in Data Migration to join them on an initial 6mth contract with potential to extend.

The role will be responsible for technical release of the solution delivered to the production systems through leadership and management of the following streams of activity:

- The establishment of the resources required to support the solution
- The application installation, configuration and application connectivity of all LMBR business applications, Middleware and related systems
- The load of data required to support business operations
- The acceptance of the solution through agreed functional, technical and business acceptance criteria and proven procedures
- Protect the integrity and stability of the release through engagement with the change control processes, managed through the program change Board.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGERS WITH:

- Extensive experience as a Project Manager, managing complex infrastructure and software release
- Demonstrable ability to deliver projects on time and on budget and to agreed specifications
- Ability to develop sound options and recommendations to senior management
- Excellent Change Management experience
- Experience in MS Project, Sharepoint, MS Office, SQL & Informatica
- Banking or government environment experience
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Solid engagement experience
- Must be confident of presenting to C-Level executives
- Have experience of building and reducing the size of teams
- Solid understading of HR processes and procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of the project life cycle and project methodologies, including risk, issue management and change management

This position requires the ability to thoroughly understand the program, business and IT operations. It also involves a high degree of complexity requiring the ability to make timely and strategic recommendations.

The role will require a high level of organisational skills, effective project planning and implementation within a complex multidisciplinary business environment. It will require effective communication and liaison skills.
