Project Manager (Data Management)

This is a fixed-term contract until 27th April 2015.

As the Project Manager (Data Management), you'll be leading the Royal Veterinary College's project to achieve full compliance with the data management and sharing requirements of our various funders using your creative and innovative skills to achieve the deliverables articulated in our Roadmap. You will work closely with RVC colleagues in Research and IT, report to the Project Board and engage with best practice in other HEIs and elsewhere.

You will have direct experience of research in the Life Sciences or a similar field and an awareness of research data management issues and agendas in research intensive HEIs. You will also have excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills and an ability to act as a persuasive advocate for research data and records management.

The post will be based at the Hawkshead Campus which is close to Potters Bar, though you will be required to travel to our Camden Campus from time to time.
