Project Manager - Data Centre Transition

Join this Australian Federal Government agency as a direct contractor to create the project plan and work from initiation phase of the Project.

Datacentres are currently leased and there is potential for changing the current arrangements. Your job as the Project Manager will be to review and make recommendations to the business on best practice for data centre management.

To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to work in a team, provide leadership and transfer knowledge.

SKILLS AND OUTCOMES SOUGHT:

- Program organisation
- Program Vision, a picture of the future state of this agency's data centres and infrastructure, a vital enabler for design of infrastructure and data centre solutions
- Leadership and stakeholder engagement, the program will cause change to ICT processes and people
- Benefits management, aligning data centre transition program with corporate objectives and assuring delivery of benefits through the changes elicited by the program
- Blueprint, expansion and development of the Vision into the blueprint, provides basis for modelling benefits and designing the project dossier.
