Job Description: Program/Project Managers are responsible for delivering the objectives of a number of inter-linked global and/or cross functional projects building together an entire strategic program. This includes responsibility for the timely implementation of defined program/project objectives in line with quality standards and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing all aspects of a program/project, which includes project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues
* Manage a team of experienced Project Employees, either directly or as part of a Matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources
* Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement
Needed skills in detail:
* An experienced project manager with a strong security background. Minimum 7 years technology project management experience, ideally within large global organisations, and 10+ years overall IT experience;
* Infrastructure knowledge, including base-level understanding of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Firewalls, and logging solutions;
* Experience in meeting target dates for risk remediation relating to external and internal audit findings;
* Ability to execute in a large complex environment with different stakeholders;
* Detail-oriented and experienced at managing project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies;
* Skilled at creating consensus among stakeholders on controversial points so clear conclusions/decisions are reached and protocolled;
* Structured and well-organized work approach; skilled at structuring complex information and driving consensus;
* Self-starter with a can-do attitude;
* Identify and manage senior stakeholders and clients, evaluate their interests and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective stakeholder management and engagement;
* Ability to work across time zones, hierarchy levels, and cultures;
Desirable:
* Professional certifications ( eg PRINCE2, ITIL,PMP or equivalent);
* IT Security background or experience;
* Experience dealing with vendor oversight and controls;
