PROJECT MANAGER
BELGIUM, BRUSSELS
CONTRACT - 6 MONTHS +
€465 - €510 PER DAY

SPECIFIC ATTENTION:
- Excellent knowledge of and professional experience with project management and development methodologies (RUP, Prince 2, BPMN)
- Advanced user of MS Products
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:
- Manage the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs, provide proposals for business specifications
- Give proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks, follow up and organisation
- Review deliverables
- Participation in meetings with users, working groups and progress meetings
- Prepare and maintain project and quality plans and track activities against the plan providing regular and accurate reports
- Discuss business needs and priorities with the operational units,
- Manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions from project stakeholders
- Assistance in the preparation of high-level documentation
- Assistance with business processes modelling and business cases analysis, functional requirements and relevant specifications to be used for the development of the information systems
- Assistance with functional requirements and business cases analysis
- Assistance to analysts for problems in production
- Regular liaison between user services and development teams to ensure requirements are properly implemented
- Coordination with the development project teams
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Experienced project manager with excellent analytical skills
- Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies
- In depth knowledge of and experience with project management tools (in particular with "MS Projects")
- Good technical knowledge of the projects aspects
- Ability to negotiate business requirements
- Good reporting methods
- Ability to give presentations
- Ability to apply high quality standards to all tasks
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (proficiency level on FR and EN spoken and written) and excellent communication skills
- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team; leadership capability.
