PROJECT MANAGER - CONTRACT - ASAP START
Our client, a leading asset management company, wishes to recruit a Project Manager to work on a transition project involving the transfer of customer accounts/agreements and employees from itself to the purchaser of the agreements.
The Project Manager will work with a Senior Project Manager to manage the overall migration effort.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
1) Maintenance of internal project plans
2) Liaison with business teams on project progress and issues
3) Reporting project progress against agreed milestones
4) Review and co-ordination of requests for data from the purchaser
5) Co-ordination of project workshops and meetings
6) Reporting of costs
7) General participation in issue escalation/resolution and project planning
8) Manage query/issue/actions/risks logs
9) Ensure project documentation is controlled and inspection ready
THE PROJECT EFFORT WILL FOCUS ON:
- IT team activities to prepare, extract and deliver the lease data contained within core and peripheral IT systems
- Migration planning across all business units
- Communications with internal employees involved in migration activities
- Coordinate information exchange between itself and purchaser
- Activities associated with the communication with impacted customers
- Activities associated with the delivery of documents to purchaser
- Activities relating to the preparation and close out of migrated contracts/accounts from it's internal financial systems.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience in project management and/or operations - planning, tracking issues, controls, scope documents, quality management
- Attention to detail, ability to challenge the quality/appropriateness of documents and requests
- Ability to synthesize data for management
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Prior experience of large projects and/or financial services industry an advantage.
