Project Manager - Connect Governance (only Candidates Located in Oslo)

THE CONSULTANT WILL BE PART OF THE PROJECT OFFICE DEPARTMENT AND WILL REPORT TO HEAD OF IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT

JOB DESCRIPTION

- To work as a the project lead for the Governance Stream as part of a large infrastructure programme
- Solid experience in project management and dealing with customers abroad is required, as well as experience of working with large infrastructure programmes

DESCRIPTION OF MANDATORY FIELDS

- Strong background in project management
- Have experience in a wide variety of IT technical areas as a generalist project manager, without being a technical specialist.
- Get easily acquainted with business requirements and objectives in different business areas.
- Be able to talk to, and understand, technical specialists and make a bridge to the business and vice versa.
- Be persistent when it comes to chasing people to deliver on time, get reviews on documents, etc.
- Be persistent when it comes to challenging project stakeholders on issues and scope changes and their impact.
- Have experience with working in a large organization with many different IT teams in an international complex and dynamic environment.
- Have experience with managing an off shore development team (IBM India).
- Have excellent facilitation skills.
