BACKGROUND:
My client, a leading banking organisation is looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a Triparty Collateral Management project ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
TASKS:
- lead the planning and implementation of the project;
- define project tasks and resource requirements;
- develop full scale project plans;
- manage project budget and project resource allocation;
- plan and schedule project timelines;
- track project deliverables using appropriate tools;
- provide direction and support to project team;
- quality assurance;
- monitor and report on progress of the project following the company methodology;
- implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs;
- project evaluation and assessment of results.
SKILLS (ALL ESSENTIAL)
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in project management in the financial sector;
- qualification in project management or equivalent;
- knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management and project management techniques and tools;
- proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management;
- proficient in project management software
Previous experience as a Project Manager in investment banking, stock exchange or an ICSD (International Centralised Securities Depositary or similar, eg. Crest, Euroclear, Clearstream, Euronext, NYSE, LCH Clearnet, etc) will be a plus, ideally in the Triparty Collateral Management area.
Language: English is essential. French or German are not essential, but any knowledge will be a plus.
