Project Manager - Citrix Infrastructure

T4S are currently working alongside a large European banking institution who are looking for a Project Manager.

The Project Manager's prime responsibility is to ensure that complex project or multiple projects, produces the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. The Project Manager will work in a team of Project Managers performing high quality project delivery for the finance workplace environment.

The Senior Project Manager will need to deliver an extension for approx. 5000 users to a Citrix VDI infrastructure, including the implementation of new requirements in an ambitious time frame. Because of the high risks and ambitious time frame involved it is really important for this Project Manager to be strict and fully and pro-actively in control.

The Project Manager must be committed to tasks while adhering to time-line; ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously without details falling through the cracks; have high standards for thoroughness, completeness and accuracy. He or she must be able to identify critical factors to consider when makings decisions; prioritises tasks and goals appropriately; effectively assesses risks and returns; can make considered decisions on less-than-perfect information.

Required skills

- Delivery of project to time, cost and appropriate quality
- Status of project in the project management reporting tool
- Achievement of acceptance criteria and conformance to Operational Readiness Review
- Formal reviews have taken place and are documented
- Successful acceptance into service
- Efficient and timely availability of assets during all stages
- Progress reports are accepted by the assignment manager
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure
- Experience in working in complex projects
- Experience in working in a managed workplace environment
- Experience in delivering projects in a global delivery model
- Ability to handle changes in direction and work priorities with ease
- Positive and level-headed under pressure; adaptable
