Project Manager - Citrix

OVERVIEW

Dell is currently working with a major financial and investment business based in Canary Wharf London. The current project requires an experienced and skilled Citrix Project Manager who is possesses a strong knowledge of Citrix and is confident in their ability to provide desktop virtualisation and networking capabilities to a major financial organisation.

THE ROLE

Your role will encompass the management and delivery of end to end Citrix projects ensuring all elements are rolled out smoothly. To this end you will engage with the business to fully understand their requirements, develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, defining deliverables and resource requirements and effectively manage the project development and delivery.

You will bring experience in the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a Citrix project, engaging with stakeholders and technical teams across all levels. You will report on progress, risk, issues, plans and other metrics as required, ensuring scope, P&L and reporting needs are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Managing Change Control
- Managing Billing and Procurement
- Developing & Managing the Schedule/Schedule
- Producing and updating standard project documentation
- Managing the Project Conflicts, Managing Risks and Issues
- Controlling Quality
- Liaise with programme team to ensure work is neither overlooked nor duplicated by related projects
- Manage the information flows between the directing and delivering levels of the project
- Manage production of the required products, taking responsibility for overall progress
- Advise of deviations from the plan to senior management

EXPERIENCE

- You will be a successful Project Manager being either Prince 2 Practitioner and/or PMP certified
- Have experience of working as a Lead Project Manager helping to deliver Citrix projects
- Extensive service delivery and senior stakeholder management experience
- Have minimum of two years experience working within a similar role
