Project Manager (Chemical/Mechanical Engineering)

I have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (Chemical/Mechanical Engineering) to work for a chemical engineering company based in Runcorn on a 6-12 month contract.

The Project Manager (Chemical/Mechanical Engineering) will co-ordinate a number of projects managed by teams and their leaders. Each of these 'project' teams have specific inter-dependent projects which leads the client towards proving your first product and the unique technology in constructing fuel cells.

The key skills and competence we are looking for from the Project Manager (Chemical/Mechanical Engineering) is solid project management experience and management of co-ordinating multi discipline project teams to tight schedules and milestones with importance on successful delivery of team and business targets.

The Project Manager (Chemical/Mechanical Engineering) must be credible with solid technical/engineering qualifications in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering disciplines and possess excellent people management skills to manage a highly intelligent, innovative and often headstrong group of project leaders, as well as effectively communicate and involve peer group managers and influence senior managers.

The Project Manager (Chemical/Mechanical Engineering) needs to apply these skills in a 360 degree approach to ensure all employees from the CEO to the Technicians are engaged, understand all concerns and issues, and driving the projects to a successful conclusion.
