Project Manager Carrier Transition

PROJECT MANAGER CARRIER TRANSITION - NORTH BRISBANE - 6 months +

Our client is one of Australia's leading ICT services and solutions providers, spanning infrastructure services, business continuity and information management.

They have built a strong and significant reputation as a client focused ICT Solutions company based on a broad spectrum of competencies serving the 'end to end' business IT needs of large to medium Government, corporate, educational and institutional enterprises.

Through their strong relationships we have a requirement for a 6 month + Project Management contract on a client's site(s) to manage the transition from one leading Carrier to another and a broad spectrum of technology projects.

Carrier transition experience a priority.

You will preferably be a technical Project Manager with an excellent mix of Telco, Carriage and ICT experience (previous IPtel and mobile solutions as well perhaps, but not explicitely essential - limited porting). Your PM specific experience should be a minimum of 5/6 years - your IT history considerably more. You will be suitably PM qualified.

Your must have the ability to work autonomously, but within a team. This role will report to a Procurement and Program Manager, and be one of several PM roles.

You will have:

Demonstrated Project Management skills, expertise and qualifications in delivering business outcomes and benefits with an ICT, Telco and carriage component with transition experience
Proven ability to accurately plan, scope, implement, and deliver projects on time, within budget to agreed quality parameters.
Experience in procurement, contract negotiation, vendor management, and system configuration is required.

This role is scheduled to start within the next two to four weeks - so you must be available within that timeframe. You MUST be an Australian Resident or Citizen and currently reside in Australia to be considered. This role is NORTH BRISBANE based.
