Project Manager - Cardiff - 35k

Computer Futures are currently looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to join a client of ours in the Cardiff area.

Two year fixed term contract

Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum, dependent upon experience

This is an opportunity to join a growing leader in the field of education and innovation on a worldwide scale. Based in the Assessment Centre, you will be working as a Senior member of the Global Project Office team.

You will be the Lead project management resource for the Assessment Centre, managing multiple key business projects both within the centre and globally across all divisions/departments. These will be the key drivers for the 2011-2015 Strategic Plan.

In terms of project content, many can be characterised as being standard to significant in size and complexity, predominantly with a large IT component; including IT infrastructure, systems and design improvement on a global scale.

One of the significant projects you would be managing is called 'MYP, the Next Chapter'. This project spans all divisions/departments, has both IT and Business processes and is key to the strategic goals of IB into 2015.

Main requirements

* Proven experience as a project manager
* Experience in managing a geographically dispersed multi cultural teams
* PM certification e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, etc.
* Highly proficient in stakeholder management
* Highly proficient in risk analysis and management
* Excellent interpersonal skills
