Project Manager (Capital Projects Experience)

We are seeking a Project Manger who has x 2 years experience of Capital Projects 'that is to say' 2 years working Public Sector Projects or Projects that Relate to the Public sector as the client is a MAJOR LONDON BOUROUGH COUNCIL.
MOST IMPORTANT: At least 2 years experience of developing or managing capital projects involving a range of partners and use of recognised project management tools and practices.
Experience of using data within a policy, service or project development context
Educated to degree level with technical qualifications relating to building and construction, contract management or project management.

Strong exp (min 2 years) of managing large projects within this field. Project Management exp is key ideally within area of schools but this is not essential

The post holder will support the Head of Service to plan/deliver the Capital Programme to specification, time and budget. Coordinate contributions to the development of project briefs and feasibility studies, to ensure project specifications and scheme designs reflect the priorities set by the Department and are within budget and required timescales for delivery. Secure agreement to the briefs Project manage the implementation of the capital programme once agreed working closely with managers, other Council Departments, schools, children’s centres etc. Prepare reports as required on projects for submission. Manage budget for capital projects..
