Project Manager - Business Intelligence (S39)

My client, a leading National organisation, are looking for a Project Manager with a solid background working on Business Intelligence projects, for a 6-8 month contract. This is a pivotal role for this particular program of work and would be looking to get someone on board as soon as possible.

The project is a large data migration piece of work, with both data and applications. This is also one of the first of its kind in the asia pacific region and therefore a hugely exciting project to be a part of.

You will be effectively responsible for:

- End to end delivery of a project over 3 phases.
- Dealing with a technical BI team on a daily basis.
- Managing the budget and scope of the project whilst ensuring it will be delivered on time.

In order to be successful you will require:

- Experience running Business Intelligence projects
- Ability to deal with technical team members
- A pragmatic and hands on approach
- A strong understanding around PM methodologies (Ideally PMBoK/Prince2/PMP)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Extremely good communication skills
- Strong leadership skills (you will have direct reports)
- Ability to maintain project documentation (plans, Risks and Issues)
- SAS (desirable)
