Project Manager - Business Intelligence

An initial 6 month contract opportunity for a Project Manager with proven experience delivering large and complex projects with a delivery focus. As a Project Manager you will be leading one main project within a large corporation.

Working for a large financial services organisation, you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of a large size project.

You will have solid Project Management experience, ideally within the Financial Services sector, if not then in large corporate environment around BI Projects(preferred)

A proven ability to manage senior stakeholders is essential for this role.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong project management skills with a proven track record in delivering and achieving results
- Resource planning, cost estimating, cost budgeting and cost control.
- Ensures that the various elements of the project are properly co-ordinated, including project plan development, project plan execution and integrated change control.
- Identify, analyse and respond to project risks and issues, through appropriate risk/issue management planning, risk/issue identification, qualitative risk/issue analysis, quantitative risk/issue analysis, risk/issue response planning and risk/issue monitoring and control.
- Encourage input from team and being committed to achieving overall objectives, undertaking appropriate action to ensure compliance with the required standards and guidelines
- Very strong stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience understanding Datamodelling and Datawarehouse solutions.
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong operational and organisational skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
