Project Manager - Business Change and Transformation

We require Project Managers with extensive business change and transformation experience for a public sector client in Essex.

We are now looking for a number of Project Managers to work within the well established Transformation Support Unit to shape, lead and deliver a number of projects - working in close partnership with other stakeholders to deliver whole system change. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to deliver the shape of a new commissioning led organisation.

The Role

The Project Managers will be required to manage complex projects of work, ensuring project risks and opportunities are identified, stakeholders managed, external contractors engaged and managed, and most critically - financial and non-financial benefits delivered. They must have the flexibility to adapt to changing demands.,

Job Purpose Summary

As a Project Manager for Transformation this role will contribute to the leadership and management of the function and to the wider organisation. Reporting to the Portfolio Managers you will be responsible for delivering number of projects that contribute to a £200m savings target.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Relevant professional or academic qualification (Degree and or Professional Qualification) or equivalent by experience.
* Successfully completed several projects and experienced contributing to a range of other projects and/or programmes.
* Experience of successfully delivering complex transformational projects in an organisation of similar scale and complexity, focused on both cost reduction and improvements to customer satisfaction.
* Significant Senior Management experience of working in a large complex public or private sector organisation at a competent level.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to build personal credibility quickly with a variety of stakeholders.
* Ability to 'sell' vision and motivate key stakeholders.
