PROJECT MANAGER - BUSINESS CHANGE - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, PROCURE TO PAY

- Contract: 11 Months
- Rate: Depending on experience (Circa 500 Euro's PD)

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global technology company based in Dublin. The company is currently in the middle of a global change programme and the primary focus of this role will be in ensuring that the Accounts Payable group have plans in place and executed to support the programme. Focus will be on accounting activities related to Accounts Payable and project management of the activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Supporting the month and quarter end close for AP.
- Supporting the EMEA AP group in statutory year end audits.
- Ensure the Accounts Payable Control Accounts and Accruals Accounts are reconciled and address reconciling items, identifying balances by company.
- Ensure that AP agings are managed to identify balances by company.
- Develop plans for AP processing to support the company split, including document flow, scanning, processing, approvals, and record retention.
- Partner with Procure to Pay teams to develop communication and training plans.
- Partnering with Procurement and Supplier Administration to develop communication plans for vendors.
- Partner with groups within P2P and Finance tracks (Record to Report, Acquire to Require ) to co-ordinate cut over plans to support the change.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Third Level Qualification preferably in Finance.
- Project management experience.
- Experience in General Ledger close process and accounts reconciliations.
- Experience in multi-national environment and knowledge of procure to pay process.
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle AP and Procurement modules.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
