Project Manager- Business- Banking- Delivery - Cardiff - £400

Gibbs S3 are looking for a Business Project Manager for our leading Banking and Card Services client in Cardiff.

You will have proven experience in delivering projects within a banking environment with liaison across IT and the Business.

Role:

-You will work with the Programme Manager and Project stakeholders to initiate projects with clear business benefits, developing solutions in line with Company and IT strategy.
-Build strong relationships and work closely with Stakeholders, Business users, Project team and suppliers to set realistic project expectations and then deliver on them.
-Manage issues, changes and reporting progress
-Liaise with business users and technical teams to scope, define and agree business requirements
-Manage issues and changes gaining agreement from for amendments from sponsors. Provide regular status updates and progress reports to all parties.

Skills Required:

*Financial services background
*Knowledge of UK compliance and governance
*Proven PM track record covering the full life cycle.
*Detailed knowledge of project phases, best practices as well as common issues and approaches to resolving them.
*Solid background in project managements/software development and associated methodologies
*Microsoft Office tools experience (especially MS Project)
*Risk and issue based planning
