CAN YOU USE YOUR PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS ANALYSIS TO PROVIDE...

- Coordination of project scope and schedule with government staff assigned to deliver projects under the Sourcing Project.
- Strategic project alignment to business objectives, including analysis and negotiation with executives and project managers for cross-project integration.
- Documentation and maintenance of high-level project schedule and high level milestone plans.
- Integration with task-level project plans covering all stages.
- Monitoring and tracking of project and cross-project issues and risks, providing resolution strategies where appropriate and reporting progress to the Project Director.
- Reviews of Project Governance Methodology and manage the processes related to project risk, issues, change, quality and configuration.
- Project quality audit checks for projects and address non-compliance in relation to processes with relevant parties and escalate where required.

This project is to facilitate the review of web hosting for 3 major government websites.

The project is at initiation/planning phase and it is foreseeable that you will be engage until at least procurement process.

The project team to start with, will consist of yourself with a view to securing additional resources as required.

THROUGH SUBMITTING YOUR RESUME, PLEASE DEMONSTRATE YOUR SKILL IN:

- Project management methodology, tools and techniques (Prince2)
- Communication, negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities
- Project management experience with complex ICT projects
- Understanding and knowledge of the requirements associated with managing and delivering ICT procurement within the Commonwealth context
- An understanding of the Australian Government's ICT-based systems infrastructure development and procurement practices
- An understanding of the infrastructure and security issues that arise in cross-platform implementations.

It is essential in this position that you have previous experience within federal government and hold a minimum PROTECTED level clearance. Australian citizenship is a requirement.

It is anticipated that you will undertake a skills assessment (at home) in Project Management Prince2.
