Project Manager/Business Analyst - Transition Project - 6 month contract

- 6 month contract with a large organisation
- Experience within Messaging and Unified communications
- Transition project to upgrade and enhance messaging and unified communications

Currently I have a challenging contract opportunity available for a Project Manager to be part of a transition project to upgrade and enhance messaging and unified communications.

THIS ROLE WILL INVOLVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT DUTIES AS WELL AS BUSINESS ANALYSIS WORK! (Effectively performing a BA role for functionality side of the solution)

YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE:

- Coordinating the required activity to ensure the project is delivered successfully, on-time and on budget.
- Defining, tracking and verifying that the needed functionality is delivered to the business.
- The establishment and engagement of reference business users to understand their current and future messaging requirements.
- Documentation of all business and functional requirements.

This position requires you to have strong communication skills in order to liaise with the relevant project partners (outsourced supplier), project and program team members for this transition project.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS POSITION YOU NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

- PMP certified and/or Prince2 Practitioner.
- Demonstrable experience in leading MESSAGING TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft based messaging products such as Exchange and Lync.
- Knowledge of end user messaging function and ability to perform feature analyst work (effectively performing a BA role for functionality side of the solution).
- Demonstrable experience in running projects where the entire project is being delivered by an out-source supplier.
- Experience in producing and maintaining project documentation.
- Skills in using MS Project.
