Project Manager / Business Analyst - Education Sector

My education sector client is looking for an experienced project manager / business analyst with a good knowledge of industry specific administration systems (Tribal SITS, Banner, Oracle System, PeopleSoft System etc) to join their site inCentral London.

The successful applicant will be able to apply both project management and business analysis skills to projects ranging in size and complexity.

The scope of the role is broad spanning both project management and business analysis. It requires the ability to manage the delivery of projects or distinct deliverables across a full project lifecycle. Additionally it requires business analysis capabilities including managing user expectations, defining scope of work, gathering requirements, documenting specifications, managing suppliers, facilitating workshops, performing gap analysis, creating project testing and training strategies and implementing them.

The suitable candidate will have experience working in a project environment. The candidate will have worked in a number of project related roles and should have demonstrable experience in use of project management and business analysis tools and techniques. . The candidate's experience should include industry specific business systems within a Higher Education environment.

Good interpersonal and organisational skills are needed aligned with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly to customers, team members and external suppliers. Similarly, the need to be a team player, who can balance need, risk and pragmatism when considering solutions are also essential capabilities.
