Project Manager/Business Analyst

We are working with a Federal Government organisation to source a Project Manager with Business Analysis skills to work on an initial 5 month contract.

3 x 6 month contract extension options.

You will be overseeing the process to redesign the organisation's system replacement project.

Your DUTIES will include (but will not be limited to):

- Manage the projects using agreed methodology including development of all required artefacts
- Work collaboratively with the system replacement project manager to ensure timelines and deliverables are aligned between the projects
- Work with other divisions to develop project documentation including scoping, PMP, Timelines, Costings, Stakeholder Engagements Strategies, and Business Requirements etc.
- Deliver business process redesign and communications to internal and external stakeholders
- Present the program to key stakeholders including industry
- Provide regular and accurate reporting to the concerned Project and Program Boards

Required SKILLS:

- Evidence of previous management of business process redesign and/or communications specific projects
- Experience managing projects that involve IT systems
- Experience in managing projects which have extensive external stakeholder engagement requirements (government, non-government), and the proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate changes
- Strong business, interpersonal, verbal and written communication and consulting skills at all levels, and
- An appreciation of Government policies on workplace diversity, workplace participation, and occupational health and safety including the ability to apply and promote them within the workplace.

Your immediate availability will be appreciated - you must be able to start in April.
