I am working with a leading manufacturing company in Bristol who are looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in Manufacturing/Operations to join their team.
The successful candidate will come from a strong Engineering/Project Management background with experience in client facing environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Control - legal compliance/customer requirements/APQP requirements
- Business Development -work with internal sales teams to identify opportunities for new business
- Provide technical support to ensure the organisation is on course to achieve operational excellence
- Develop existing products
KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Strong background in project management
- Strong background in engineering (degree in engineering or related subject ideal)
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods
- Strong knowledge of CAD (Computer Aided Designs)
- Strong knowledge of APQP (Advances Product Quality Planning)
