For our customer in Zurich we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Basel III
Your responsibilities:
- Coordination of the execution of the CFO book of work to support the objectives of the Basel 3 program.
- Ready availability to work across European and North American time zones
- Effective management of remote teams using PC based collaboration tools and effective documentation
- Clear and accurate planning documentation, meeting structuring and reporting
- Identification of risks and issues to delivery with correct escalation
- Candidate must have performed similar roles as described in the Job Description
- Strong Program experience within the financial services environment
- Proven ability in program management across large global programs
- A good knowledge of the investment banking industry
- Proven ability working in disparately located teams on large scale Change/Transformation programs
- Experience of working on a global program with stakeholders based across different time zones and cultures
- Structured (and practical) - analytical approach with an ability to create clarity out of ambiguity
- Personal and career motivation to engage fully in the Program, to further develop the Program and influencing skills to get things done
- Undergraduate IT or Commerce degree or equivalent and/or with practical Business or IT experience in Product Control, Financial Accounting or Regulatory functions
- Knowledge of formal project and program management methods
- Experience with a "big four" leading consulting firm within financial services and/or within large change programs within similarly complex institutions
- Formal business analysis and project management qualification and experience
- Well rounded, self-sufficient, determined and politically aware
As the ideal candidate you have the following qualifications and experience:
Essential:
- English
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance or a numerate discipline
- 5+ years of PM experience with a leading consulting firm within financial services or in an international investment bank
- Solid IT knowledge
Desireable:
- German
- PMI Certification or PRINCE2
- Skills in SharePoint usage & development
