PROJECT MANAGER - BANKING PRODUCTS - HALIFAX - £356

We have a requirement a Project Manager with experience in retail banking products to join our client based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This is a contract role with an initial 6 month duration.

The project will have an extensive impact across all savings and banking interest bearing accounts for personal customers. It involves being compliant with legislation that is required across all channels removing references to net tariffs.

As a minimum, the successful candidate must meet the skills criteria below:

- Sector knowledge of Financial Services with over 2 years experience in the sector
- Experience of managing assumptions, risks, issues and dependencies across a multi-stream migration from Legacy systems within an FS organisation
- Ability to create and manage the business case through submission and subsequent financial control of the programme
- Ability to build a delivery roadmap and build into an overall business case, and gain stakeholder approval for the budget and plan
- Deep skills in MS Project with 3+ years experience building and managing MS Project plans
- Excellent organisation & governance skills and ability to shape and manage reporting of several workstreams to a tight schedule
- Excellent MSP skills and ability to pull together presentations, roadmaps, plan summaries etc. to present to an executive audience
- Experience of developing and monitoring financial tracking in order to manage a business budget across several workstreams, highlighting any discrepancies to the Programme Manager

RATE: £356 per day
LOCATION: Halifax, West Yorkshire
DURATION: 6 months +
START: Mid August 2015
