Project Manager - Banking - Contract - Bristol

My client, a tier-1 bank within London, is looking for an experienced and regulatory focused Project Manager to implement process improvements within their Solvency II production runs. The position will be aimed at delivering regulatory reporting capabilities for Solvency II into the Insurance Finance function.

This role will be responsible for managing the implementation from Business Assurance Testing through into live (including process finalisation). The role will entail managing dry runs to identify the necessary resources for project implementation and defining the business user training plans to ensure the route to live. This will be coupled by implementing a support model once the role goes live.

This role is offering a 6 month rolling contract and a daily rate of up to £650 has been signed off, for the correct applicant (based on experience, Current situation and relevance to this position)

In order to excel in this position you must have:

- Strong Solvency 2 knowledge (I,II,III Pillar experience)
- Experience in leading and delivering regulatory and legal projects in Life and Pensions Insurance
- A proven track record of producing project and implementation plans ensuring the buy-in of project sponsors and stakeholders.
- Experience in communication of all project requirements to project members and stakeholders impacted by the implementation
- Experience in defining project governance including roles required within the project team
- Strong understanding of the requirements for project standards and documentation including time lines, status/risk/issue reporting and communication, exception reporting and project sign off.
- Experience of managing individual project risks into a wider multi-project environment.

Experience of building strong working relationships with, and managing third party suppliers, contract staff, etc., working within a project.

- Qualification (or equivalent experience) in management and/or formal project/programme management qualification.
- 4-6+ years experience in Project Management with delivery track record.
