PROJECT MANAGER - BANKING - BRISTOL - £396 PER DAY

A leading retail bank requires a dedicated experienced Project Manager to work on a strategic change programme based in Bristol.

The programme aims to deliver Solvency II requirements for the Insurance Business.

The successful candidate will be in control of managing the end to end delivery of multiple business projects within the SII Programme.

DELIVERABLES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

- Accountable for the management and end to end delivery of multiple business projects or complex components of projects on the Business Portfolio, to agreed timescales and standards.
- Manage the overall business delivery of post actuarial model calculations (transformations) required to support external and internal reporting
- Directly manage the delivery and sign-off of business specifications, detailed test preparation, test data sets and test execution, business process and controls, business implementation
- Own & manage the EUC inventory, production of EUC's for end state SII reporting
- Determine the scope and delivery required by the business for the Tax Bridge.
- Plan, resource & deliver the business milestones

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE WORKED ON A SIMILAR PROJECT WITHIN FINANCIAL SERVICES/BANKING AND CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:

- Experience in major structured programmes, with wide exposure to programme governance and PMO requirements
- Experience of building strong working relationships with, and managing third party suppliers, contract staff, etc., working within a project.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing skills, strong communication skills with senior delivery and business stakeholders
- Experience in managing cost, timescale, quality and benefits realisation requirements with the agreement of project sponsors
- Strong understanding of the requirements for project standards and documentation including timelines, status/risk/issue reporting and communication, exception reporting and project sign off.
