Position: Project Manager - CCS Asset Management
Job type: Contract (6 months Initially)

Location: Surrey easily commutable from Reading, Basingstoke, Frimley, Ash Vale and with excellent access from Hampshire
Rate: £41.75 per hour

OUTSOURCE UK LTD is actively seeking to recruit a Project Manager- Asset Management for a contract role on behalf of a client.

THE CLIENT:
A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
The successful Project Manager - Asset Manager candidate will be responsible for the following:

Ensure all assets required to support In-Build and In-Service are procured and available to support agreed programmes by intelligently managing the overall equipment allocation and dependencies.
Ensure sufficient and suitable storage and transport solutions are in place
Establish and maintain robust processes to ensure assets are stored, maintained and issued to the correct build and configuration standard with appropriate records being maintained.
Actively manage and mitigate risks from across all programmes relating to definition and management of assets.
Reporting on equipment procurement, holding and allocations as required by internal and external (MoD) stakeholders.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE
IT Skills, use of Microsoft Office, SAP, Asset-i
Awareness/Understanding of MoD policies relating to inventory & asset control
Financial control of material control accounts
Understanding of procurement processes and inventory management
Experience in the following:
Involvement in purchasing processes, asset management, management of MoD inventory
SAP, Asset-i, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint &Word)
Management of risk registers
Planning equipment allocations to meet programme demand
