Project Manager - Adabas

A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced PROJECT MANAGER - ADABAS to plan, manage and deliver complex project based solutions. Reporting to the Program Director you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are managed and delivered in accordance with business requirements, on time and within the allocated budget.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Drive the design, documentation and development of business requirements that support key business, process and software systems
- Assist in the evaluation of proposed system solution to ensure delivery of solutions is consistent with defined client expectations
- Lead, motivate and develop the Project Delivery team through daily performance management processes
- Monitor and manage external vendors including analysis, project tracking, relationship management, deliverables monitoring and reporting
- Work closely with the change management team and ensure the training objectives are achieved

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- PROJECT MANAGER WITH PROVEN ADABAS/NATURAL EXPERIENCE
- PRINCE2 practitioner level preferred with proven experience in using contemporary project management methodologies in delivering best practice, customer focused ICT systems projects
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation skills and demonstrated success at building relationship with key stakeholders
- Understanding of corporate management policies and guidelines and legislation around configuration management
- Knowledge of and experience in organisational change/benefits management
- Experience in project financial management and reporting
