Project Manager - ACT Location

AS A BUSINESS CHANGE/IT PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Managing the trial and evaluation of the WEB and Workflow modules;
- Managing a small team;
- Developing a project plan and providing detailed status reports on progress and budget;
- Ensuring that the objectives of the project are met;
- Working cooperatively and collaboratively with the other projects within the Program, as well as other stakeholders within the department, to ensure the trial and evaluation is thorough and conclusive;
- Producing a comprehensive evaluation report and assisting with the development of a business case, depending on the outcome of the evaluation;

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

- Considerable experience in the management of projects.
- Proven experience in online service implementation and workflow management and automation;
- A comprehensive understanding of government requirements for IT security and accessibility;
- Experience providing accurate information in technical and non-technical language to senior managers,including both oral and written reporting; and
- Experience preparing trial and evaluation reports for IT applications;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications;
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams; and
- An understanding of basic process mapping principles and methodologies, particularly BPMN.
