An opportunity has arisen within a genuinely lovely creative agency based in Birmingham, for a Project/Account Manager to come on board for an initial 3 month contract.

This agency has some huge clients and this role would be the project manager on one of their largest accounts. The agency specialises in branding, packaging, retail and FMCG.

They are looking for an experienced Project/Account Manager to join them initially for a 3 month contract, which could extend further if the need is there.

What youll be up to:

Work cross-functionally to provide timely support to manage new project briefs through the studio.
Work with relevant internal and external partners to establish projects commercial fundamentals, schedule and budget.
Provide timely, relevant and accurate information to all members of the project teams to make sure all colleagues are aware of roles and responsibilities.
Be the focal point for all project issues.
Maintain project milestones and ensure the timely action of key activities and milestones with partner groups.
Ensure document trail for projects is complete.
Manage change history for all projects.
Work with Finance and Client Service to maintain and help control project budgets.
Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of budget, purchase and supplier data
Monitor project expenditure and report variances when necessary.
Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely communication of changes to specification, calendars and quantities in respect of clients project execution.
Highlight and work with partners to resolve variances against plan.
Instigate and manage appropriate escalation of problem items and issues.
Build relationships both internally and externally.

What skills youll need:
Excellent project management skills
Previous experience of traffic management
A good understanding of the design process, ideally in packaging/fmcg
A real team player
Ideally agency experience, though client side will also be considered
