PROJECT MANAGER/+7 MONTHS/DEN HAAG

Infrastructure Project Manager required for one of our clients in The Hague. The Project Manager is required to work within the GF CPI Integration team, to lead the "Service Usage Estate Growth" work stream. This Project Manager will ultimately be accountable for delivery of the GF Cost Savings relating to the work stream activities and initiatives.

KEY DIMENSIONS:

- Developing/Managing plans, tracking progress, managing risks issues, reporting progress (weekly and monthly)
- Providing financial and non-financial updates on overall work stream progress, as well as detailed reports when requested
- Representing GF in CPI forums and meetings with central CPI teams
- Aligning central CPI activities with GF goals and requirements
- Identifying, validating and progressing new initiatives to realise further cost savings
- Proactively aligning with stakeholders to ensure continued awareness and buy-in to CPI goals and direction
- Lead engagements with GF business users (with IMIT oversight), adequately informing and educating users to reduce IT consumption
- Overseeing all Comms and Change activities, interfacing with Central CPI C&C team
- Overseeing GF Cost Take Out Tracker to ensure that all savings are adequately logged and tracked per agreed processes (note this may be managed in future by a dedicated Cost Mgmt Focal Point)
- Collaborating with GF Demand Planners and Lead OLMs to ensure cost savings are realised and reported.
- Managing 3 FTEs as well as steering/guiding activities performed by Service Management and Demand Planning resources.
- Influencing Central CPI team resources on activities to maximise GF CPI cost savings
- Overall manage activities towards achieve GF SOM Cost Take out target of $28M in 2015
- Interfacing with GF CPI Estate Optimisation (EO) Work stream Lead, to collectively manage cross-work stream scope, and ensure adequate tracking of EO related cost savings in CTO Tracker

DETAILS OF SCOPE WITHIN THE INFRASTRUCTURE BUNDLES:

EUC

- Overseeing and managing campaigns to reduce end user consumer IT spend
- Creating and distributing communications to inform stakeholders of upcoming activities and intermediate results
- Tracking and ensuring benefit delivery of CPI-driven initiatives
- Representing GF users and their user requirements to ensure central CPI initiatives are suitable for Global Functions users.

MNS

- Overseeing centrally managed projects, including LAN port reduction and site audits.
- Managing desk phone removal for GF at all sites
- Validating and presenting initiatives for further cost reduction (BCP site decommissioning, WAN downgrades, TDM to Ethernet conversion, etc.)

H&S

- Leading infrastructure-centric initiatives to reduce application spend
- Ensure implementation of ITSO LT approved storage optimization and other policies
- Validate all centrally delivered cost savings
- Validate and progress all other infrastructure-centric opportunities

Mobility

- Support the implementation of the EC-approved mobility policy for all GF users globally
- Lead initiatives to reduce end user spend on mobility
