LEADS THE DELIVERY OF A HIGHLY COMPLEX PROJECT(S). MAINTAINS A TACTICAL FOCUS. SETS CLEAR OBJECTIVES AND DEFINED DELIVERABLES. DEVELOPS COST BENEFIT ANALYSES FOR THE PROJECT, COMMUNICATES TO AN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, CREATES AND REPORTS PROJECT STATUS UTILIZING A DASHBOARD, ALLOCATES RESOURCES, DEFINES PROJECT GOVERNANCE POLICIES AND MANAGES THE FINANCIAL CONCERNS. UTILIZES AND EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATES TECHNICAL COMPONENTS OF AN INITIATIVE TO APPLICABLE PARTIES. ABILITY TO LEAD A CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAM WHILE MOTIVATING TEAM MEMBERS TO THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL. REQUIRES EXCELLENT ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS AS WELL AS BUSINESS PRESENTATION SKILLS. EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL SKILLS. INTERFACES EFFECTIVELY WITH ALL LEVELS AND ACROSS ORGANIZATIONAL LINES, INCLUDING THE BUSINESS UNITS. EFFECTIVELY UTILIZES EXTERNAL VENDORS AND INTERNAL RESOURCES. DEMONSTRATED SUCCESS AT BUILDING TEAM RELATIONSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS ACROSS ORGANIZATIONAL LINES.

Experience Level:
BA or BS preferred, PMP or Project Management Professional Certification highly desirable; plus minimum 8+ years of direct relevant experience.
Prior large medical experience is a plus will start off with approximately 10 hours per week, but hours may increase by April to Full Time.
Must have solid working knowledge of financial terms, flow charts and fostering relationships to develop communication support tools. Must show experience rolling out major initiatives-- planning meetings, working/creating the communication plan. Creating job aids. Working with large groups of stake-holders. Must be firm with a silk glove, so to speak-- there is a need to quickly develop relationships/influence people and foster a cooperative environment.

Resource can sit in northern ca or southern ca (please indicate preference on the top of the Resume)

Excel/Word, Powerpoint/MSProject (or another project planning tool ) would be most helpful
Min Level of Edu: aa degree, Bachelors is preferred
PMP Certification is preferred, not required.

Program wide roll out in finance, documenting procedures in Finance. Must have the ability to understand and translate "finance -speak"to user-friendly terms-- will be documenting process and process improvement
