Project Manager

An exciting, long-term opportunity is available at DG Education and Culture in Brussels for a PROJECT MANAGER. DG EAC is responsible for policy on education, culture, youth, languages, and sport. Working under our contract with DG EAC you will join our team supporting these issues through a variety of projects and programmes.

Tasks will include:

- Managing the implementation of information systems;
- Making proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks, follow up and organisation;
- Reviewing deliverables;
- Managing the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions from project stakeholders;
- Assisting in business processes modelling and business cases analysis, functional requirements and relevant specifications.

We are searching for the candidate with the following profile:

- 15 years of professional experience of which 9 years with project management and development methodologies eg RUP, Prince 2, BPM;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- In depth knowledge of project management tools eg MS Project;
- Good technical knowledge of the projects aspects;
- Fluent in English and French.

The successful candidate should be able to start the mission in March. The position is offered as a freelance contract.
