Project Manager - CONTRACT
Duration: 3 months +
Location: Belgium
Rates: 494.00/535.00 Euros per day
Start date: Immediate
A client of mine based in Belgium have recently won a project and now have the need to bring in an experience Project Manager to drive a project using a temporary team made up of people from different disciplines to achieve their targets. Previous experience with on-board activities and/or electronic ground support equipment projects, so having an interest in both electronics and software engineering would be an advantage.
Here are the areas you will be responsible for:
*Project definition
*Management and organization of the project start-up: preparation and generation of the project plans, planning, communication, kick-off meetings
*Information gathering & distribution
*Definition of the quality norms and control of these norms
*Negotiate and assemble resources
*Budgeting
*Project planning (overall)
*Definition of the possible impact of proposed implementations and/or project changes
*Organization of and participation in reviews and project meetings
*Decision making in consultation with the team
*Progress tracking: evaluation of the 'earned value'
*Motivate
*Report/escalation process
*Management of project risks
*External representation of the project
*Coordination and daily management of his/her project team's tasks: detail planning, follow-up, implementation, documentation
