Project Manager

Ciber is currently looking for a Project Manager to join an exciting project based in Essex. We are looking to speak to senior consultants who are looking to step up into a Project Manager role ideally you will have at least 6 to 12 months exposure in a project management function and will be looking to further your experience to step up to the Project Manager position within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment.

The PM is required to: - Identify and manage project stakeholders and ensure they receive appropriate communication. - Manage the expectations of key stakeholders - Manage project deliverables from internal service providers and external vendors - Gather business and technical requirements - Define and obtain buy-in to the scope of projects - Follow appropriate change control and configuration management processes - Develop and manage project schedules - Manage the issues and risks, including development of contingency and mitigation plans - Ensure there is a robust and accurate estimate and use this to build business case and project budget - Ensure the production of appropriate project documentation in adherence with current standards - Follow appropriate change control and configuration management - Work with finance, the business office and purchasing for procurement needs of the project - Maintain projects in the project management system

Desired Skills and Experience
Strong customer mind-set and having developed customer relationships - Effective verbal and written communication skills at all levels of personnel within both IT and the business. - Evidence of good time management, prioritization and organizational skills. - Evidence of previous project delivery using recognised project management methods - Knowledge of project management principles and best practice - Experience of using Microsoft Project

Understanding of ITIL principles - Understanding of IT Infrastructure products and services - Experience managing VDI projects - Experience working with and understanding security and control compliance (eg. ISO 27001) - Professional certification or working towards certification, e.g. PMI or PRINCE2 practitioner - Experience with Project reporting tools (Rally, Clarity PPM, Sharepoint)
