Project Manager

SUMMARY

- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects.
- Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
- May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

SKILLS:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Department handles non IT Project management. Projects usually range from $500k-$100 million.
- PM will manage a handful of smaller projects, ranging from $500K-$2 million
- PM Will work with electrical/utility/construction work
- Prior experience as a construction/Utilities PM preferred
- NO IT Project managers should be submitted to this role
- PM will go out into the field as needed
- Contractor will manage projects from $1 million - $2 million. The projects are often longer duration and require more decision making. Top candidates will have 4-7+ years of experience
- No Degree required
- PM should have experience working with MS Office.
- Prior experience in Asset Suite 8 or PassPort a plus.
