POSITION
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a large Financial Services organisation based in Edinburgh. Due to an increase in workload the organisation has seen it vital to bring in a Project Manager to work closely with the analysts and ensure that all elements of the project are dealt with on a timely fashion.
You will be required to help set up the project which has been created due to new rules and regulations that the bank will need to adhere to. The project itself is on going however the initial contract will be 3 months but this will be extended.
This is a role that would suit someone who is looking for their first contract position or someone wanting to make that first step into management.

ORGANISATION
The organisation is a large financial services organisation that is based in the city centre. It is within walking distance of both Waverly and Haymarket train station which makes it easily accessible for candidates who live outwith the Edinburgh area.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Within this role it is vital that the successful candidate has change experience from within a Project Management or Senior Analyst position. This role is looking for someone who can assist with the analysts and help them with the work load so previous management experience would be highly beneficial. You must also have experience of working closely with Senior Stakeholder and reporting your findings to them. Due to the project they need someone who is able to deal with strategic
challenges so being able to prioritise and juggle different tasks would be essential.

RATE
This is an initial 3 month contract however the project will go on longer then that. The rate for this position is between £300-£360/day.
