JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects.
- Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

- Responsible and accountable for overall program performance for multiple system-wide programs.
- Develop and manage Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) Low-Voltage Mitigation (LVM) Program, a parallel effort to the system-wide CVR Program. Program started in 2015 as a pilot and will mature in 2016 and beyond.
- Finalize 2015 program pilot by developing program processes and validating secondary capacitor and other low-voltage mitigation strategies.
- Oversee analysis, engineering, design and execution of low-voltage mitigation projects across service territory. Program has budget of $3M to $5M per year, with individual projects that typically range from $10k to $100k.
- Leads team through business case/capital approval process, development and execution of project plans and project closeout. Program will require annual Sr. Leadership approval.
- Responsible for managing the scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance of program; also for tracking mitigation benefits and working with CVR Team to gauge influence on system-wide CVR efforts.
- Extract AMI Data from C3, to identify low-voltage mitigation target areas and assign to Technicians/Engineers. Coordinate with CVR Team.
- Interface with Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) project team, Customer Reliability, Design, Work Management and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements.
- Develop and manage MOSCAD RTU replacement program, to replace aging DA infrastructure.
- Oversee analysis, engineering, design and execution of projects across service territory. Program has budget of $1.5M per year.
- Leads team through business case/capital approval process, development and execution of project plans and project closeout. Program will require annual Sr. Leadership approval.
- Responsible for managing the scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance of program.
- Interface with Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) project team, Customer Reliability, Voltage Quality, Work Management and other stakeholders to coordinate project requirements.
- May be required to manage other electric reliability programs with the intent to reduce frequency and/or duration of outages on distribution system.
- May also manage non-construction projects with direct accountability to project execution while leading a team to accomplishing objections within a given time frame and with limited resources.

SKILLS:

- May require a bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
