Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Resource 1 is in need of a Project Manager for a position located in Des Plaines, IL. Individual should have 5+ years of experience managing large, critical projects in an enterprise environment and 2+ years of experience utilizing the Agile methodology. Experience working within a QA environment is required for responsibilities such as verifying test plans, approving test results and managing a defect resolution process. Knowledge of Automation Testing and Performance Testing is preferred. Individual should be proactive in identifying and managing all significant issues and risks and escalating them as necessary. Will be responsible for defining and managing the scope, schedule, budget and plan for projects throughout the life cycle. Will be responsible for ensuring all project milestones are tracked and fulfilled. Should understand project goals and objectives, and ensure that projects are setup to achieve these goals. Will be responsible for weekly and monthly status reportings as well as weekly project meetings. Will also define communications plans and maintain communications throughout the project. Individual will be expected to report and communicate project status to executives and other project stakeholders with in the. Project Management certification is preferred, but not required for this position.
