6 PLUS MONTH CONTRACT

PROJECT MANAGER WITH A TECHNICAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE IN WINDOWS, AIX AND LINUX PLATFORM.

Essential Functions:
Manages large complex application deployment projects or multiple projects of moderate complexity.
Total Managed Project Budget up to $3 million.
Project Complexity can be multiple sites and up to 5 integrated work sites
Manages development of project plans and/or coordinates development of project plans across several independent projects.
Demonstrates knowledge, experience and use of change management process and impact on business.
Responsible for delivering infrastructures such as network, Servers, common services for the program.
Provides technical consulting for business partners and plan development.
Evaluates best practice recommendations and trade-off scenarios to enhance the Project Quality Plan.
Determines project technical resource requirements and procures resources.
Proactively communicates with enterprise-wide supporting teams/resources including vendors and supporting factions in managing the project interdependencies.
Responsible for applying the risk management process.
Develops requirements and technical specifications for technology POC.
Manages the engineering and deployment phases of the project delivery life cycle.
Determines the impact of current/existing technologies on the project.
Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation, using independent judgment to accomplish objectives.
May manage 2 - 5 concurrent projects.
Able to understand design documents and putting together a deployment plan of actions.
Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. May supervise the activities of others.

LOCATION OF THE POSITION
Will be working remote. But must be in the Pleasanton area for meetings as needed.
3 - 5 DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meeting with Application teams to review project plan.
Creating Work Orders (WO) and Change Request (CRQ) tickets via Remedy.
Reports on deliverable to management and ensuring project is on schedule.

TOP 3 - 5 REQUIRED SKILLS:
PMP AND MINIMUM OF 6 YEARS OF RELATED IT EXPERIENCE including IT Project Management and expertise in large project implementation.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis; have excellent skills in complex analytic problem solving, project management, change management, and group process.
Ability to manage human resources, motivate the staff to perform well, monitor performance of the individuals and the team.
