Projektbeschreibung

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. In addition, the PM is responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. May communicate with a Senior Project Manager, Functional Area Manager, or Program Manager regarding status of specific projects.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage execution of the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and may facilitate customer acceptance.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the stakeholders and team members.
May be responsible for managing/recording detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (eg, planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter.
Conduct a kick-off meeting with all key stakeholders in order to announce the start of the project and review the overall project plan and gain consensus.
Implement the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project.
Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale.

Delivery model (existing model and future changes)
Define project roles, responsibilities, methodology, tools and best practices

Support, lead, or ensure the standardization of processes for implementing projects across all clients, in accordance with best practices
Identify, and/or elevate ideas for improving the delivery model offer and methodologies

ROLE SPECIFIC TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrate and Educate as a Proficient Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Project Management process and tools.
Experience communicating effectively with different levels of management and direct client contact.
Experience with software methodology development processes.
Ability to create presentations and write business cases under some direction.
Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple priorities.
Project budgeting/costing knowledge.
Ability to solve more complex problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Intermediate user of MS Project.
Business services type experience (versus IT infrastructure or Application Development project management)
Ability to explain a specific example of leading a project from start to finish (Project Charter, Scope Statement, Statement of Work, Identify Stakeholders, Work Breakdown Structure, Communication Plan, HR Plan, Quality Plan, Risk Plan, Monitor & Control, Measure using metrics and data, lessons learned, project and contract close). Vendor management a plus but not required.
Experience in large global organizations
Ability to build relationships in a virtual environment
Ability to create margin - step back and analyze the project holistically, create a culture to follow-up on details or items that don't match expectations. Bring calm to a chaotic situation
Ability to listen and strong learning agility
Ability to work in a the grey space environment in a new market/team that isn't fully defined - identify gaps and issues and solve them or create recommendations

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree desired but not required
PMP Certification or working toward certification within 12 months

WORK EXPERIENCE
3-5 years project management experience
7+ years of professional work experience
